Boarding & campus life

Where students live, eat, and recover

Rhythm and care first — dorms, Izakaya student dining, and recreation designed to support academics and training without noise or clutter.

Residence

Student dorms

Boarding residences scale with the Defence School launch. Supervision, quiet hours, and parent communication are non-negotiable — capacity and formal enrollment follow school-section settings set by administration.

Supervision

Clear adult presence and house standards — students never invent the culture alone.

Communication

Families stay connected through the participant portal when sections are in live or preview mode.

Belonging

Houses and peers make sure ambition does not become isolation.

Thoughtful dining setting suggesting student food service

Food service

Moehnke Izakaya

Student-facing dining for after-class meals and stipend-aware ordering. When full service hours are online, NE and SW concepts, bakery/ice cream, and culinary courses sit under one portal. Until then, meal pathways and planning tools prepare the kitchen culture students will rely on.

  • Student meal stipends visible to families in the portal
  • Separate dining-pass products when offered (Portal Pricing)
  • Not a substitute for medical meal plans — special diets are arranged with staff

Movement

Recreation facilities

Pool & spa

Aquatics and recovery spaces with published safety rules and booking windows.

Climbing & arena

Climbing gym and sports arena setups for training and community use.

Open recreation

Membership and guest options through the Public Recreation Center portal.

Seasonal camps and tactical airsoft field experiences extend campus culture off the academic calendar — see Programs.
